“Canon in Cherry Blossom” by Sandra So Hee Chi Kim


Sandra So Hee Chi Kim is a writer, scholar, educator, and activist. She teaches Asian American studies as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The Claremont Colleges and is the founder and co-executive director of Asian American Justice and Innovation Lab (aajil.org). Though Kim has published her research in various academic journals, it is only recently that she began writing and submitting poetry for publication as well. Her poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Arkana Magazine and Re-Flesh by Los Angeles Society Press.
